[Reconciliation Forum] Meaning and Role of Civil Exchange for the reconciliation of South and North Korea

CRCEA 2018.09.19

• Date: Wed, September 19 2018, 15:00-17:30

• Venue: 214, International Studies Hall, Korea University.

Currently, Korean society is facing the challenge of establishing a peace system on the Korean Peninsula for international peace and strengthening cooperation with neighbouring countries around East Asia. Beyond the distrust-based ‘conflicting politics’, we are on the path to a reconciliation-based ‘politics of cooperation’. The Korea University Peace and Democracy Institute has established the “Reconciliation Forum” in order to find practical policy alternatives that will not only lead to reconciliation but also lead to substantial improvement in relations. This event was organized under the heading of “The Meaning and Role of Private Exchange for the reconciliation of South and North Korea.”
