[KUPE Online Symposium #4] Social Change and Response in the Post COVID-19 Era

2021.02.25

Due to Coronavirus Infection-19 (COVID-19, hereinafter referred to as Corona-19), a different world is unfolding in front of us in almost every field, including domestic and foreign politics, diplomacy, economy, society, and culture and arts. It is an important social responsibility of Korea University, which studies social science, to consider changes in international, national, and personal levels after the Corona-19 crisis, to respond to these changes, and to analyze and suggest policy alternatives. In this context, four research institutes, including the Peace and Democracy Institute, Institute of Economics Research, Institute of Statistics, and the Institute of Governmental Studies, sought to set up a common forum to discuss “change and response to our society in the post-corona era” and present analysis and policy alternatives from an inter-disciplinary perspective.
