From January 11th to 21st, 2021, Korea University Peace and Democracy Institute conducted the APSA Asia Workshop with City University in Hong Kong University. The APSA NWorkshop was launched in 2019 by the Association of Southeast Asian Political Sciences (APSA) to strengthen its academic network with Asian political researchers.We conducted an online workshop with graduate students who are writing the document and Junior Faculty.

The program consisted largely of four themes: 1. Research Guide 2. Protest Dynamics in Authoritarian/Hybrid Settings 3. Technology and Demonstration 4. Democratic Backsliding, which promoted research feedback from emerging scholars, academic participation, and other professional development. In addition, due to the Corona 19 situation, the program held an online virtual workshop for two weeks between January 11 and 22, 2021, but it is scheduled to hold an offline face-to-face workshop for one week at Korea University in early July.
