이번 콜로키움에서는 미국 NYU의 Sanford Clark Gordon 교수님께서 Gregory A. Huber 교수님과 함께 연구 중이신 주제에 관해 이야기를 들려주실 예정입니다. 해당 연구의 주제는 “형사사법제도의 신뢰성 및 공정성에 대한 개인적, 집단적 인식 차이와 제도 개혁의 필요성”이 되겠습니다. 관심 있는 분들의 많은 참여 부탁드립니다.

Bio: Sanford C. Gordon is Professor of Politics and Associated Professor (by courtesy) of Law at New York University. He received his B.A. from Cornell and his Ph.D. from Princeton. Prior to his arrival at NYU, Professor Gordon taught at the Ohio State University from 1999-2002; and in 2005-2006, was a fellow-in-residence at the Center for the Study of Democratic Politics at Princeton. From 2019-2024, he served as Chair of the Wilf Family Department of Politics at NYU. His research on the politicization of executive branch agencies, corporate influence in regulation, the political economy of criminal justice, electoral accountability, research methodology, and the institutional determinants of legitimate authority has appeared in the American Political Science Review, the American Journal of Political Science, the Journal of Politics, the Quarterly Journal of Political SciencePolitical Analysis, the Journal of Law, Economics, and Organization, and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, among other places.
