Submit Research Paper to Peace Studies Vol. 28, No.1 (Spring, 2020)

Peace Studies, published twice a year by Peace & Democracy Institute(PDI), seeks a paper to be published in Vol.28, No.1 (issued on April 30, 2020). Peace Studies publishes academic papers on the peace that are understood in a broad sense. It covers not only structural, institutional and ideological measures for conflicts and disputes in international relations and their resolution, but also various research themes related to political, economic and social conflicts and integration within a country. Papers are accepted at any time, and both Korean and English papers can be submitted. If you would like to submit, please use the online paper submission (http://pdi.or.kr/paper-submit-recommend) located at the bottom of the homepage of the PDI. The deadline for the submission of a Peace Studies  to be published in the fall of 2019 (the journal of the Research Foundation’s Registry) is extended as follows by the Institute for Peace and Democracy at Korea University. –———– * Final deadline for submission of Research Paper: ~ September 25th (Wed.) midnight * Existing deadlines (before change): ~ September 22nd (Sun.) midnight * Reason for extension: JAMS homepage suspended due to JAMS manager (Korea Research Foundation) improvement of water transmission facilities * JAMS homepage suspension period: September 20th (Friday) 18:00 to September 22nd (Sunday) 24:00 Please consider the period of discontinuation of the homepage so that it is not inconvenient to submit the manuscript. Professor Jai-Kwan Jung was appointed as the editor-in-chief of Peace Studies on July 1, 2018. Thank Professor Dong Seon Lee for your dedication as editor-in-chief for the past three years.

KACDC and Presidential Committee for Balanced National Development Signed a Research Contract

The Korea-Asia Center for Development and Cooperation(KACDC) applied for research services by the Balanced National Development Commission to carry out the task of “Studying the status of regional development and applying balanced development policies of major Southeast Asian countries.”
